With your help, the Binghamton Township Historical Society seeks to build a first-class community museum, where elements of the Town's past can be preserved, studied, and enjoyed well into the future. Your donations, in all forms, are the center of our projects. The Society is staffed by volunteers, so you can be sure that all your donations will go directly towards our projects and general operation.
Online donations are the easiest, most direct way to provide support for the Binghamton Township Historical Society and its projects. You can donate directly through the PayPal link to the right. All that is required is a valid credit card; a PayPal account is not necessary.
Donations can be made in any amount. If you would like to have your donation applied to a specific project, please be sure to mention it in the notes. General donations will be applied to the area of greatest need t the time they are received.
Memberships not only help support the Society, but also help us involve the community directly. Members receive the quarterly newsletter and are always welcome at Society meetings and events.
Individual and Family memberships make great gift ideas, especially from grandparents to grandchildren, They are also an excellent way to help promote interest in family, and local, histories.
The Binghamton Township Historical Society always has a list of projects they're working on. Some, like the effort to renovate the museum, require more funding. Others, such as the future organization of the Society's historical records collection, depend more on volunteerism.
The Society actively works to promote its larger projects through public support generated via crowd sourcing sites such as Kickstarter. Crowd sourcing puts projects in the public eye, where people all around the world can pledge support. If the project doesn't end up fully funded, the pledges aren't fulfilled - which means that only the projects that people really believe in make it to completion.
Visit our projects page to find out more about information, then use the links there to reach our crowd source pages and show your support publicly!
The Binghamton Township Historical Society is always proud to partner with community businesses. Partnerships are developed on an individual basis. If your company would like to partner with BTHS, please reach out to us through our Contact page and a Society member will be in touch shortly.
