Due to raccoon damage over the winter of 2011/2012, the 2nd floor ceiling had to be torn out. The ceiling is still pending replacement, but before that could happen it was necessary to update the electrical system as part of the long-term plan to turn the 2nd floor rooms into historical-themed areas, document research and storage, and other meeting areas.
The Society partnered with Mr. Thomas Furch of All Phase Electrical & Maintenance, Inc. to complete that project. A new upstairs breaker box was added to handle the extra electrical outlets and ceiling lights needed to bring that area up to code. We can now begin to plan the fundraising for a new ceiling. Many thanks to Tom and his crew!
